Thank goodness spring is starting to act like it wants to move in for a while. I was kind of sick of the white stuff! Still, March offered a few good photo opportunities so here’s a look at a couple of them. The Port Franks Camera Club, where I am a member, was granted a wonderful opportunity to visit the boat building shop of Skip Izon. Skip is one of those hidden gems tucked away north of Grand Bend here’s a video if you’re interested in a bit more information. He makes the most beautiful boats and canoes for everyone from Olympic athletes to regular putter-around-the-lake folks. His shop is a fascinating place to be let loose in. Here’s one of my favourites, but to see all of them follow this link.
My favourite Chocolate Lab and Rottie boy got a chance to have one more run in the last bits of snow in my yard. They had a blast chasing, rolling and fetching. Little Xerxes is a big boy now even though he’s a few months away from blowing out the candles on his first birthday cake. If you aren’t watching out you can get knocked over in all the enthusiasm! There were a few sweet moments in all the rough and tumble so here’s one for you, but to see the rest of the play date, follow this link and click to the second page of photos … unless you want to get all mushy over Xerxes baby pictures!
