Construction

When there’s construction in the neighbourhood and huge machines, pipes and piles of metal nearby, what are you supposed to do but take pictures!

Sticky Ice Morning

This morning we awoke to sticky ice covering every branch in the yard. These pictures have to be grabbed fast because as soon as the sun comes up the ice crystals disappear. Quite pretty, actually, the way the ice forms. Now don’t get me wrong – I’ll be glad to see green leaves on the trees…

Street Walking

Out for a walk with my dog this morning before the heat of the day and I decided to bring my camera along and do some black and white street shooting. This is the little parkette in the middle of town. I rather enjoy the train station art on the south side of the space.
