it’s a party at trivitt

This weekend marks the 5th annual Thanksgiving Celebration Weekend at Trivitt Memorial Anglican Church in Exeter. The weekend full of events was officially opened by Mayor Ken Oke cracking the keg and hoisting a stein with Father Brad Dunbar and committee co-chair Friedhelm Hoffmann. and so it begins

I’m seeing a little too much of these lovely seasonal reminders all over the place. As beautiful as the colours can be, especially on a warm and sunny day, I’m not sure that I’m ready for the inevitable. In the meantime I suppose the photo ops are abundant.

grasshead tops or cloud fluff?

These grassheads are quite beautiful this time of year. On a day when the clouds are so fluffy it almost makes me think that the grass is catching little bits of fluff from the clouds.

Fall Harvest

It looks like the fall harvest is under way but as you can tell from this picture, it’s been a little on the dry side. The dust flying out behind the equipment on a very windy day makes the image all the more dramatic.
